Laugh, play games, goof around and do what you usually do
I will offer some guidance on where to sit/stand/etc, I will sing fun songs, make silly noises and faces to get the attention of your kiddos (and/or pets) and you don't have to worry about the rest.
If your family isn't in the mood to pose and smile in a formal way, we can just have fun and photograph them in their natural state.

I want your kids to look back and go "Remember when daddy used to throw me so high in the air?"
or "Mom remember when sissy was this little and I helped you feed her and play with her?" when they look at your family images from our session together. Let's go for a walk and play silly fun games. Feel free to bring some of their fave toys, books, etc and capture those important memories too. Have them do a task like holding their sibling, helping their sibling walk, doing something silly or picking flowers.
